Review
While other poker websites jolt our senses with garish designs, rotating graphics, and dark to black background, the Party Poker site does just the opposite. It's visual elements, although somewhat minimal, are very tastefully and artistically done. At first visit, the visitor would be inclined to feel that Party Poker is a no-nonsense website. The Party Poker website has none of those annoying popups that can distract the visitor from the site's content.
In terms of text content, the Party Poker site is quite comprehensive. The How to Play link contains several useful pages, screenshots, and tour videos on how to use the Party Poker software, as well as on how to play poker. One of the site's unique features is their software called Poker Trainer, which instructs players on basic and advanced rules for poker at any level. Poker Trainer can be downloaded for free.
Another good thing about the site’s content is the Responsible Gaming link and page. The page contains several guidelines and tips on controlling one’s gambling. Should the user need help, there are self-exclusion tools ready, as well as several links to organizations that can help. Party Poker also is very vehement on not allowing those under the age of 18 to use their services.
Party Poker offers 24-hour support for clients from non-US countries. Contact numbers are available for Canada, England, Australia, Europe, and other countries. There is no phone support for US-based clients though. Likewise, several email addresses are available should the user have issues not discussed in the FAQs.
