Review
The Poker Room website is an elegant and classy site. The homepage is simple enough. User links are part of the main content and are organized in folder tabs. These include the site’s company affiliates, its site security assurances, quick links to all its support options, information on getting started, available poker games, and available poker tournaments.
Information and links within these folder tabs open to new pages. However, even when the overall site mapping can get messy, pages let you know where you are within the map (an actual line that says “You are here”), and you can easily click on the folder/location you want to. Another great thing in the site is that whatever page you go to, a partial site map loads at the bottom of the page. You can easily find yourself in and out of anywhere you want to go!
The header has six main links: My Account, Poker, Newsroom, Promos, Community, and Help. My Account goes to your login page. Poker leads to several other pages. Some of these pages give you the rules, tips, and tricks for different poker games. Others list the different tournaments and games available in Poker Room. The Help tab leads to a comprehensive page of all possible ways you can seek help within the site. There’s the FAQ which seems to be comprehensive and comes with a very useful search option. About Us gives you a rundown of the company and its involvements. The Contact link goes to a page that highlights the different options, like email, phone support to select countries, and live chat. There is even a password reset option, which is quite helpful if one values security in online poker rooms.
